The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.29.74

सर्वं शून्यं निरालम्बं ममताप्रत्ययोऽप्ययम् ।
द्विचन्द्रस्वप्नपुरवद्यस्यासौ सोऽपि नास्ति नः ॥ ७४ ॥

sarvaṃ śūnyaṃ nirālambaṃ mamatāpratyayo'pyayam |
dvicandrasvapnapuravadyasyāsau so'pi nāsti naḥ || 74 ||

The whole (universe) is a vacuum and without any support at all;it appears as a secondary moon in the sky or a city in one's dream or imagination, none of which has its reality in nature.
