The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.23.37

ममेदं च मनो मोहात्संसारभ्रमसंभवम् ।
मन्ये हातुं न समर्थं स त्वं बोधानुकम्पितैः ॥ ३७ ॥

mamedaṃ ca mano mohātsaṃsārabhramasaṃbhavam |
manye hātuṃ na samarthaṃ sa tvaṃ bodhānukampitaiḥ || 37 ||

Hence I hope sir, that you will kindly remove the error, which is bred in me by my ignorance of the delusions of this tempting world.
