The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सत्तैवैषा विदो यत्सा भवत्युन्मिषिता जगत् ।
परं तत्त्वं निमिषता दृगिवानामकं ततम् ॥ ५४ ॥

sattaivaiṣā vido yatsā bhavatyunmiṣitā jagat |
paraṃ tattvaṃ nimiṣatā dṛgivānāmakaṃ tatam || 54 ||

The result of the desired actions of the unwise, is their stretching out of the world before them; while that of the acts done without desire by the wise, serves to put an end to the world before them.
