The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अहमित्येव शुक्रस्था संविदापादमस्तकम् ।
विसरत्यखिले ज्योत्स्ना यथा ब्रह्माण्डमण्डपे ॥ ३४ ॥

ahamityeva śukrasthā saṃvidāpādamastakam |
visaratyakhile jyotsnā yathā brahmāṇḍamaṇḍape || 34 ||

The egoism residing in the seminal seed, spreads its intelligence throughout the body from head to foot; as the moon-beams are scattered throughout the circumference of the whole universe.
