The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.13.11

कल्पावसानजरठं काककोकिलगाम्यथ ।
पतितं शान्तिमायातं क्वाप्यन्तावासनं गतम् ॥ ११ ॥

kalpāvasānajaraṭhaṃ kākakokilagāmyatha |
patitaṃ śāntimāyātaṃ kvāpyantāvāsanaṃ gatam || 11 ||

It is ripened at the end of the Kalpa age, when it becomes the food of black crows and cuckoos (messengers of darksome death); or if it falls below there is an end of it, by its absorption in the indifferent Brahma.
