न कारणं विनोदेति जलात्फेनलवो यथा ।
न कारणं विनोदेति सर्गादि ब्रह्मणस्तथा ॥ ४ ॥

na kāraṇaṃ vinodeti jalātphenalavo yathā |
na kāraṇaṃ vinodeti sargādi brahmaṇastathā || 4 ||

As the froth is not produced in the water, without some cause or other; so the creation never proceeds from the essence of Brahma, without its particular cause also.
