The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्त्रीबालपुरुषादीनां वास्तव्यानामितस्ततः ।
क्रीडार्थं स्थापिता यत्र नानारचनयान्तरे ॥ १२ ॥

strībālapuruṣādīnāṃ vāstavyānāmitastataḥ |
krīḍārthaṃ sthāpitā yatra nānāracanayāntare || 12 ||

It is furnished with many a fountain (of the seas and rivers), for the sport of men, women, and children living under it; and amidst the decorations of all kinds of animals in it.
