The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.7.10

मृगतृष्णाम्बुवद्विश्वं नास्ति त्वमथवास्ति च ।
प्रतिभासोऽपि नास्त्यत्र तदभावादतः शिवम् ॥ १० ॥

mṛgatṛṣṇāmbuvadviśvaṃ nāsti tvamathavāsti ca |
pratibhāso'pi nāstyatra tadabhāvādataḥ śivam || 10 ||

The world being as the water in the mirage (a mere nullity); there is neither its existence nor its inexistence neither, there can be no reflection of it either (because a void has no shadow); and therefore it must be but God himself.
