The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पङ्कवन्त्यप्रसन्नानि महादौर्भाग्यवन्ति च ।
गन्धिशैवलतुच्छानि पल्वलानीन्द्रियाणि च ॥ ४७ ॥

paṅkavantyaprasannāni mahādaurbhāgyavanti ca |
gandhiśaivalatucchāni palvalānīndriyāṇi ca || 47 ||

The organs of sense are as dirty canals of the body, with their stagnate and foul watery matter, they are filled with noxious and hairy moss, and emit a malarious stink.
