The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रुतं स्पृष्टं तथा दृष्टं भुक्तं घ्रातं पुनः पुनः ।
संशुष्कविरसं भूयः किं भजामि वदाशु मे ॥ २७ ॥

śrutaṃ spṛṣṭaṃ tathā dṛṣṭaṃ bhuktaṃ ghrātaṃ punaḥ punaḥ |
saṃśuṣkavirasaṃ bhūyaḥ kiṃ bhajāmi vadāśu me || 27 ||

Thus have I seen and heard, felt and smelt, and repeatedly tasted whatever sweets this earth could afford. They have now become dry, distasteful, stale and unpleasurable to me; say what other sweet is there left for me yet to enjoy.
