The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उन्मेषमात्रेणाहन्ता जगन्त्यनुभवत्यहो ।
न निमेषेण दृगिव सत्यानीत्यप्यसन्त्यलम् ॥ ४४ ॥

unmeṣamātreṇāhantā jagantyanubhavatyaho |
na nimeṣeṇa dṛgiva satyānītyapyasantyalam || 44 ||

Egoism sees at a single glance the myriads of worlds spread before its visual sight; as the blinking eye observes at a twinkling thousands of specks scattered before its sight.
