अवेदनमसंवेद्यं यदवासनमासितम् ।
शान्तं सममनुल्लेखं स कर्मत्याग उच्यते ॥ २४ ॥

avedanamasaṃvedyaṃ yadavāsanamāsitam |
śāntaṃ samamanullekhaṃ sa karmatyāga ucyate || 24 ||

An action done without a desire, is an act of unconsciousness; and they are not recognized as our actions, which have no traces of them in our minds.
