The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.3.19

शान्तैर्न गृह्यते किंचिन्न च संत्यज्यतेऽपि च ।
त्यागादानेन जानन्ति ततस्तैः शान्तमानसम् ॥ १९ ॥

śāntairna gṛhyate kiṃcinna ca saṃtyajyate'pi ca |
tyāgādānena jānanti tatastaiḥ śāntamānasam || 19 ||

The holy saints never seek to have, nor dare to avoid or leave any employment of their own choice or will; (but they do whatever comes in their way, knowing it as the will of God and must be done). They are therefore said to be of truly saintly souls and minds, who are strangers to the preference or rejection of anything.
