The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चिद्रूपो बिल्वमज्जान्तश्चित्तसंज्ञां यदात्मनि ।
करोति तद्यथा बिल्वान्न स्वल्पमपि भिद्यते ॥ ९ ॥

cidrūpo bilvamajjāntaścittasaṃjñāṃ yadātmani |
karoti tadyathā bilvānna svalpamapi bhidyate || 9 ||

The divine intellect, like the Bel fruit, forms within itself its pith and seeds (of future worlds), which lie hid in it, and never burst out of its bosom.
