Verse 7.3.2

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
नासतो विद्यते भावो नाभावो विद्यते सतः ।
यदा तदैव सुकरं वेदनावेदनं स्वयम् ॥ २ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
nāsato vidyate bhāvo nābhāvo vidyate sataḥ |
yadā tadaiva sukaraṃ vedanāvedanaṃ svayam || 2 ||

Vasishtha replied:—Verily a nothing or unreality, cannot be something in reality; nor a real something can become an unreal nothing;but in any case where both of these (viz.; reality as well as unreality of a thing) are possible, there the cognition and incognition of something, are both of them equally palpable of themselves.
