The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.2.10

शुभाशुभं नाशनीयं स्वकर्म खलु धीमता ।
मूलकाषविनाशेन तच्च नष्टं भवत्यलम् ॥ १० ॥

śubhāśubhaṃ nāśanīyaṃ svakarma khalu dhīmatā |
mūlakāṣavināśena tacca naṣṭaṃ bhavatyalam || 10 ||

The acts of merit and demerit are both to be destroyed, together with their results of good and evil; and this is done by eradicating and extirpating them altogether.
