The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.1.26

मा कर्मफलबुद्धिर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ।
उभयं वा त्यजैतत्त्वमुभयं वा समाश्रय ॥ २६ ॥

mā karmaphalabuddhirbhūrmā te saṅgo'stvakarmaṇi |
ubhayaṃ vā tyajaitattvamubhayaṃ vā samāśraya || 26 ||

Neither have in view the object of your action, nor the reward of your action; but know it to be equally alike whether you refrain from action, or do it without your desire of fruition.
