The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विश्वामित्र उवाच ।
अत्रैव कुरु विश्वासमयं स पुरुषः परः ।
विश्वार्थमथिताम्भोधिर्गम्भीरागमगोचरः ॥ ८१ ॥
viśvāmitra uvāca |
atraiva kuru viśvāsamayaṃ sa puruṣaḥ paraḥ |
viśvārthamathitāmbhodhirgambhīrāgamagocaraḥ || 81 ||
Viswamitra replied:—Believe what I say, that this Rama is that primary Male, who had churned the sea for the good of the world, and is known only by the deepest learning of the vedas.
