The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवाल्मीकिरुवाच ।
यदा परिणतः साधुः स्वस्वरूपे महामनाः ।
विश्वामित्रस्तदोवाच वसिष्ठमृषिसत्तमम् ॥ ५९ ॥

śrīvālmīkiruvāca |
yadā pariṇataḥ sādhuḥ svasvarūpe mahāmanāḥ |
viśvāmitrastadovāca vasiṣṭhamṛṣisattamam || 59 ||

Valmiki said:—When the virtuous and high minded Rama, was absorbed and sat entranced in the divine essence, it was then that Viswamitra addressed the venerable Vasishta and said.
