The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.128.21

नामरूपविनिर्मुक्तं यस्मिन्संतिष्ठते जगत् ।
तमाहुः प्रकृतिं केचिन्मायामेके परे त्वणून् ॥ २१ ॥

nāmarūpavinirmuktaṃ yasminsaṃtiṣṭhate jagat |
tamāhuḥ prakṛtiṃ kecinmāyāmeke pare tvaṇūn || 21 ||

That nameless and formless being in which the world subsists, is called Prakriti or matter by some, and Maya or delusion by others, and also as atoms by atomic philosophers.
