The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अविद्यायोनयो भेदाः सर्वेऽमी बुद्बुदा इव ।
क्षणमुद्भूय गच्छन्ति ज्ञानैकजलधौ लयम् ॥ २० ॥

avidyāyonayo bhedāḥ sarve'mī budbudā iva |
kṣaṇamudbhūya gacchanti jñānaikajaladhau layam || 20 ||

All things are born of our ignorance, as the bubbles are swollen by the air; they glisten and move about for a moment, and then melt into the sea of our knowledge.
