The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अनात्मन्यात्मतामस्मिन्देहादौ दृश्यजालके ।
त्यक्त्वा सत्त्वमुपारूढो गूढस्तिष्ठ यथासुखम् ॥ १४ ॥

anātmanyātmatāmasmindehādau dṛśyajālake |
tyaktvā sattvamupārūḍho gūḍhastiṣṭha yathāsukham || 14 ||

Cease to consider the bodies of men as their souls, and to behold the visibles in a spiritual light;rely solely in thy spiritual self, and sit retired from all except alone with thyself.
