The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पूजितं स्वसभासंस्थं भगवन्तं प्रजापतिम् ।
इक्ष्वाकुरुवाच ।
मां योजयति धार्ष्ट्येन भगवन्करुणानिधे ॥ ५ ॥

pūjitaṃ svasabhāsaṃsthaṃ bhagavantaṃ prajāpatim |
ikṣvākuruvāca |
māṃ yojayati dhārṣṭyena bhagavankaruṇānidhe || 5 ||

Having honoured the lord of creatures, as he took his seat in his court; he said to him to be excused for asking him some questions to which he was impelled by his impatience.
