The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.114.3

तस्यादृश्यात्मतत्त्वस्य विस्मृत्यैव गतं स्थितिम् ।
नान्यस्मादागतं राम जगद्रज्जुभुजङ्गवत् ॥ ३ ॥

tasyādṛśyātmatattvasya vismṛtyaiva gataṃ sthitim |
nānyasmādāgataṃ rāma jagadrajjubhujaṅgavat || 3 ||

Men forget the reality of the invisible spirit of God, and view the unreal world as a reality; as deluded persons are apt to believe a serpent in a rope.
