The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.110.23

पताकाध्वजसंबाधं मुक्ताजालमनोरमम् ।
नृत्यगेयपरस्त्रीकं स्वभूमावचलं स्थितम् ॥ २३ ॥

patākādhvajasaṃbādhaṃ muktājālamanoramam |
nṛtyageyaparastrīkaṃ svabhūmāvacalaṃ sthitam || 23 ||

He saw numbers of flags and banners hoisted on every side, and beheld strings of pearls hung over the doorways of houses. The women of the city were singing and dancing in merriment all around, and giving it the appearance of Kailasa—the happy abode of gods.
