The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

लाजपुष्पाञ्जलिव्रातैरावृष्टः पौरयोषिताम् ।
वणिङ्मार्गमसौ पश्यन्परंपरमनुत्तमम् ॥ २२ ॥
lājapuṣpāñjalivrātairāvṛṣṭaḥ paurayoṣitām |
vaṇiṅmārgamasau paśyanparaṃparamanuttamam || 22 ||
He passed through the market place, and beheld the beauty of the shops one after the other; and was hailed by groups of the city women, who pelted their handfuls of flowers and fried rice at him, as he passed on by them.
