The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.110.16

ततः शिखिध्वजो राजा महिष्या सममिष्टया ।
पदातिरथसंबाधं कर्षन्नतिवृलो बलम् ॥ १६ ॥

tataḥ śikhidhvajo rājā mahiṣyā samamiṣṭayā |
padātirathasaṃbādhaṃ karṣannativṛlo balam || 16 ||

The prince Sikhidvaja sat with the princess on the same seat, and was accompanied by a mighty force composed of foot-soldiers and chariots, that furrowed the ground as they drove on forward.
