The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.110.5

तेन मङ्गलकुम्भेन तं पूर्वाभिमुखं स्थितम् ।
भार्या भर्तारमेकान्ते स्वराज्येऽभिषिषेच सा ॥ ५ ॥

tena maṅgalakumbhena taṃ pūrvābhimukhaṃ sthitam |
bhāryā bhartāramekānte svarājye'bhiṣiṣeca sā || 5 ||

She then made him sit by the sacred water pot, and facing towards the rising sun in the east; and performed the rite of his installation to his kingdom, in this sequestered retreat.
