The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मोहमेकं परित्यज्य भवामः पुनरेव ते ।
स्व एव नगरे राजा भव त्वं स्वासने स्थितः ॥ ६३ ॥

mohamekaṃ parityajya bhavāmaḥ punareva te |
sva eva nagare rājā bhava tvaṃ svāsane sthitaḥ || 63 ||

Why then do you allow the imbecility and hermitage of old age, to overtake you in the prime of your youth;when it is your duty to remain in your city and palace, and govern your princely state.
