The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शेषमेकं परित्यज्य तिष्ठामः कथमेव वा ।
चूडालोवाच ।
वयमाद्यन्तमध्येषु राजानो राजसत्तम ॥ ६२ ॥

śeṣamekaṃ parityajya tiṣṭhāmaḥ kathameva vā |
cūḍālovāca |
vayamādyantamadhyeṣu rājāno rājasattama || 62 ||

Chudala replied:—Know prince, that we are royal personages by births, and must all along continue as such from the first to the last stage of our lives.
