The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विदेहतां प्रयास्यामः प्रभो कालेन केनचित् ।
शिखिध्वज उवाच ।
वयमाद्यन्तमध्येषु कीदृशास्तरले वद ॥ ६१ ॥

videhatāṃ prayāsyāmaḥ prabho kālena kenacit |
śikhidhvaja uvāca |
vayamādyantamadhyeṣu kīdṛśāstarale vada || 61 ||

Sikhidvaja said:—Tell me, O fickle minded lady, what you mean by the three stages; and how we stand at the midmost one, without having a whit to care for the final one.
