The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शैलाविव समुत्कीर्णौ श्लिष्टावास्तां चिरं प्रियौ ।
मुहूर्तेन गलद्धर्मजलौ पुलकपीवरौ ॥ १६ ॥

śailāviva samutkīrṇau śliṣṭāvāstāṃ ciraṃ priyau |
muhūrtena galaddharmajalau pulakapīvarau || 16 ||

The two constant lovers continued in their close contact, like two contiguous rocks sticking to one another; till at last they parted apart, with the profuse perspiration of their bodies.
