The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मायया न तु कुम्भादि किंचित्सत्यं महीपते ।
अथो विदितवेद्यस्त्वं ध्यानेनैतदखण्डितम् ॥ ८ ॥

māyayā na tu kumbhādi kiṃcitsatyaṃ mahīpate |
atho viditavedyastvaṃ dhyānenaitadakhaṇḍitam || 8 ||

The forms of Kumbha and others, were no real but magical appearance before thee; and thou that knowest the knowable, can very well discern the whole affair in your meditation.
