The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तन्वि किं शीघ्रमेव त्वं विघ्नितानन्दमागता ।
आनन्दायैव भूतानि यतन्ते यानि कानिचित् ॥ २० ॥

tanvi kiṃ śīghrameva tvaṃ vighnitānandamāgatā |
ānandāyaiva bhūtāni yatante yāni kānicit || 20 ||

Lady, said he why do you come so soon to me, and leave off the enjoyment of thy happiness? Oh! happiness is the end and aim of all beings on earth.
