The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आगत्यान्विष्य कुञ्जात्स प्रददर्श शिखिध्वजः ।
लतागेहे मदनिकां कण्ठे खिङ्गं मनोहरम् ॥ ८ ॥

āgatyānviṣya kuñjātsa pradadarśa śikhidhvajaḥ |
latāgehe madanikāṃ kaṇṭhe khiṅgaṃ manoharam || 8 ||

Sikhidvaja sought for her in the gardens and groves, and found her out at last sleeping in the bower, with the pretty paramour enfolding her neck in his arms.
