The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.105.45

न चेतस्यधियां त्वेताश्चित्तं यान्ति न देहकम् ।
कुम्भ उवाच ।
एवमस्त्वनुतिष्ठामि यामिनीस्त्रीत्वमात्मनः ॥ ४५ ॥

na cetasyadhiyāṃ tvetāścittaṃ yānti na dehakam |
kumbha uvāca |
evamastvanutiṣṭhāmi yāminīstrītvamātmanaḥ || 45 ||

Kumbha replied:—So it is, and I must bear with my feminine form, with an unfeminine soul.
