The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पश्येमान्यङ्ग जायन्ते स्वाङ्गेभ्यो वृक्षपुष्पवत् ।
पश्यायं स्वयमेवाद्य चन्द्रांशुकरशोभनः ॥ ३८ ॥

paśyemānyaṅga jāyante svāṅgebhyo vṛkṣapuṣpavat |
paśyāyaṃ svayamevādya candrāṃśukaraśobhanaḥ || 38 ||

Lo! the moon-bright vest covering the crown of my head (like the disk of the moon resting on the hairy crest of Siva); and the necklaces hanging about my body.
