The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ततः पित्रा महेन्द्रस्य सभास्थाने यथाक्रमम् ।
स्थित्वोत्थाय तथोत्थानकाले पित्रा विवर्जितः ॥ ६ ॥

tataḥ pitrā mahendrasya sabhāsthāne yathākramam |
sthitvotthāya tathotthānakāle pitrā vivarjitaḥ || 6 ||

There I met my father, and accompanied him to the court of the great Indra, where having sat a while, I got up with my father and then parted from him at his abode.
