The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तत्र कालद्युति मुखं चकाराखिन्नमानसा ।
इन्दुं सनीहारमिव श्यामा खिन्नमिवाम्बुजम् ॥ ३५ ॥

tatra kāladyuti mukhaṃ cakārākhinnamānasā |
induṃ sanīhāramiva śyāmā khinnamivāmbujam || 35 ||

She appeared there with a melancholy face, and as deeply dejected in her mind; just as the fair moon is darkened under the mist, and the beauteous lotus are hid under a fog.
