The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तेनाचारेण ताभिश्च कथाभिस्तौ वने ततः ।
नीतवन्तौ दिनान्यष्टौ तासु काननवीथिषु ॥ ३ ॥

tenācāreṇa tābhiśca kathābhistau vane tataḥ |
nītavantau dinānyaṣṭau tāsu kānanavīthiṣu || 3 ||

In this manner they kept roving in that forest for full eight days, and passed their time in conversations on various subjects.
