The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

त्यक्तसंकल्पलेखेन न किंचिदभिवाञ्छता ।
त्वया सदैव वस्तव्यं दृष्टिरेषैव पावनी ॥ ५ ॥

tyaktasaṃkalpalekhena na kiṃcidabhivāñchatā |
tvayā sadaiva vastavyaṃ dṛṣṭireṣaiva pāvanī || 5 ||

May you ever abide at your ease, by your utter abandonment of every tint of desire, and by your firm reliance in these holy precepts, which the wise have always in their view.
