The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चेतश्चापलजान्येव तानि तानि महीपते ।
स्थिरं शान्तं गतस्पन्दं यस्य चित्तमचापलम् ।
सदैव स महानन्दी साम्राज्यस्य स भाजनम् ॥ ५१ ॥

cetaścāpalajānyeva tāni tāni mahīpate |
sthiraṃ śāntaṃ gataspandaṃ yasya cittamacāpalam |
sadaiva sa mahānandī sāmrājyasya sa bhājanam || 51 ||

Curb the fickleness of your mind, and be ever calm and quiet; if you desire to enjoy the happiness of quiet and rest.
