The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तत्तेन देहदेह्यादिर्जगदादीव लक्ष्यते ।
केवलं परमेवेत्थं परमं भासते शिवम् ॥ ४१ ॥

tattena dehadehyādirjagadādīva lakṣyate |
kevalaṃ paramevetthaṃ paramaṃ bhāsate śivam || 41 ||

In fact the body and the embodied soul, appear as any other sensible object in the world; but being viewed in reality in their abstract light, they blend in the spiritual form of God.
