The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
कुम्भेन बोधितस्त्वेवं स बभूवावबोधवान् ।
विनिर्गतो रराजोच्चैर्महामोहसमुद्गकात् ॥ ५ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
kumbhena bodhitastvevaṃ sa babhūvāvabodhavān |
vinirgato rarājoccairmahāmohasamudgakāt || 5 ||

Being thus enlightened by Kumbha, the prince became full of enlightenment; and being roused from his trance, he shone as brightly as a rich gem when taken out of its cover.
