The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पितामहोदरे तस्य मिथ्याप्रत्ययतः स्थितिः ।
घना तव निवृत्तैव मार्जयिष्याम्यथेतरत् ॥ ६९ ॥

pitāmahodare tasya mithyāpratyayataḥ sthitiḥ |
ghanā tava nivṛttaiva mārjayiṣyāmyathetarat || 69 ||

I will now wipe off the dark cloud of your error, that our great grandfather Brahma was conceived in the womb of the supreme spirit (whereby he is styled the padma-yoni or born of the lotus like navel string of God);and this will be the salvation of your soul.
