The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

असत्ता वस्तुसत्ताया नावगच्छाम्यहं यथा ।
अहंत्ववेदनं चित्तबीजं समुपशाम्यति ॥ ५० ॥

asattā vastusattāyā nāvagacchāmyahaṃ yathā |
ahaṃtvavedanaṃ cittabījaṃ samupaśāmyati || 50 ||

As I can not conceive the non-entity of a positive entity, nor the abstract nature of a concrete body;so I know not how my egoism, which is the seed of my mind, can be at once ignored by me.
