The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.93.21

क्षोभयत्यन्य एवैनं निग्रहार्हो मुहुर्बलात् ।
तपस्विनं यथैकान्तं संस्थितं मत्ततस्करः ॥ २१ ॥

kṣobhayatyanya evainaṃ nigrahārho muhurbalāt |
tapasvinaṃ yathaikāntaṃ saṃsthitaṃ mattataskaraḥ || 21 ||

He who hurts or annoys his inoffensive body, deserves to be put to torturous punishment; like the ruffian rogue who robs and annoys the holy saint, sitting in his solitary cell.
