The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कुम्भ उवाच ।
सर्वमेव न संत्यक्तं त्वया राजन् शिखिध्वज ।
सर्वत्यागपरानन्दे मा मुधाभिनयं कुरु ॥ १२ ॥

kumbha uvāca |
sarvameva na saṃtyaktaṃ tvayā rājan śikhidhvaja |
sarvatyāgaparānande mā mudhābhinayaṃ kuru || 12 ||

Kumbha replied:—Yet you must be aware! O prince Sikhidvaja! that you are never released from all the bonds of this life, by your renunciation of every mortal thing; appertaining to this your mortal and transitory state of your being.
