The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.92.24

तत्संस्थाप्येन्धनैः शुष्कैर्ज्वालयामास पावकम् ।
करैः संचारवानर्कः सूर्यकान्तपदं यथा ॥ २४ ॥

tatsaṃsthāpyendhanaiḥ śuṣkairjvālayāmāsa pāvakam |
karaiḥ saṃcāravānarkaḥ sūryakāntapadaṃ yathā || 24 ||

Having collecting them in a pile, he set fire to them with dried fuel; as the sun-stone or sun-glass burns down the combustible by its fire.
