The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चिरेणालभतेभेन्द्रं कस्मिंश्चित्कानने स्थितम् ।
विश्रान्तं तं तरुतले समरादिव निर्गतम् ॥ २१ ॥

cireṇālabhatebhendraṃ kasmiṃścitkānane sthitam |
viśrāntaṃ taṃ tarutale samarādiva nirgatam || 21 ||

After a long search, he came in sight of the elephant halting under a tree; as when a warrior returns from the battlefield, and breathes the air under a shady arbour.
